President Obama inherited the worst situation of any president in modern history. Our country was nearing a depression, and our nation was engaged in two unwinnable wars. Trump inherited a nation in full recovery with programs in place to continue economic growth. Of course, Trump continues to take credit for President Obama’s accomplishments.
What has Trump actually accomplished? He reduced taxes on the wealthy and corporations, which has added one-trillion dollars to the national debt and harmed the middle class. His tariffs have resulted in layoffs and farmers were given a $14 billion bailout to save their businesses. What else has he done? He’s too busy golfing, watching television, and attending hate rallies to work for the American people.
President Obama had the best people in America working for him. His cabinet was composed of men and women who were experts in their fields. Unlike Trump, he refused to hire fake journalists from Fox Noise or billionaires who have been given an opportunity to enhance their personal wealth; or individuals such as Betsy DeVos who is attempting to advance Christian education.
We must add a growing number of men and women who have left the workforce. Good-paying jobs remain scarce, and for many Americans it is economically unrealistic to work for a less than adequate wage.
When President Obama established a “green energy policy,” thousands of good paying jobs were created in wind and solar. Here in my state of Nevada, Tesla built a large factory to build batteries for their vehicles. Hundreds of jobs offering excellent wages were created. It had nothing to do with Trump, and everything to do with President Obama’s vision for our nation’s future.
In November of 2018, the people of Nevada elected a Democrat as our governor. Steve Sisolak is a proponent of green energy. Geographically, Nevada is America’s fifth largest state. Approximately 80 percent of our state is owned by the BLM. Here in Northern Nevada we have as many mostly sunny days as San Diego, California. Our winds are nearly constant. Wind and solar are natural choices with hundreds of thousands of acres available throughout the state.
The point is, when you read about our current economy understand that Trump has done nothing to encourage economic growth; he doesn’t know how. His business failures are legendary. Without bailouts from the Saudi Royal Family in 1995, and Russia in 2005, Trump would be broke.
Tell everyone; “The Truth Lives Here.”
