On Saturday in Upland, Indiana, dozens of students at Taylor University stood and walked out before the commencement speech was delivered. Why did this happen at a Christian University when the Speaker was a self-proclaimed devout Christian, and a member of our nation’s government? It was Mike Pence.
Although most of the graduates stayed in support of their faculty, those who left offered a message to Trump’s closest a** kisser; they were denouncing prejudice and bigotry from the man first in-line for the presidency. Trump is the nation’s leading homophobe and a fake-Christian. Pence denies the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Pence was previously the Governor of Indiana and was the first state leader to sign an anti-gay law. He supported the rights of men and women who claimed religious beliefs for their refusal to offer goods and services to same-sex couples. Once again, I call “bullshit.”
Prejudice is a synonym for ignorance. Choosing to be ignorant is a crime against common sense, and proof of low intelligence.
My question is “why does Pence fear the LGBTQ community? What threats do they pose to the American people? He should fear men like himself. White, right-wing, domestic terrorists are the greatest danger to our nation’s people.
In two years of Trump’s illegitimate presidency there have been four of the most egregious mass shootings in our nation’s history; all by white men. What action did Trump take to protect our people? Nothing. He offered “thoughts and prayers.”
The truth is that there have been 62 mass shootings since Trump’s inauguration. A mass shooting is the injury or death of at least three individuals during a single attack.
They were all hate crimes. When Trump and Pence verbally assault the LGBTQ community, Muslims, women, blacks, Hispanics, or any other group of Americans they encourage hatred and violence.
We need change. We deserve a president who serves all Americans. Trump is the worst president, the worst man in history. He, Pence, and his white trash family must be expelled from Washington.
Election day is coming; register and vote.
Tell everyone; “The Truth Lives Here.”
