“Michigan GOP Rep. Justin Amash said Saturday he had concluded President Donald Trump committed ‘impeachable conduct’ and accused Attorney General William Barr of intentionally misleading the public.”

The first Republican since John McCain to stand up to Trump’s reign of terror must be praised. It took great courage to stand up to the dictator in the senate, Mitch McConnel and the wannabe fuhrer in the White House, Donald John Trump.

Republicans have desperately attempted to protect the illegitimate presidency of Trump since November 8, 2016. They have ignored the future of our nation and the welfare of the great majority of the American people. Trump is the greatest disaster to happen in our nation’s 243-year history.

First, he destroyed the credibility and dignity of the office of President of the United States. Second, he began to violate his oath of office; to “preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.” Third, he continued to conspire with Vladimir Putin to destroy America.

Trump continues his refusal to learn and perform the job for which he was elected. He doesn’t care. Golfing, partying at his millionaires only resorts, and watching cable television are his priorities. He is not an American and his loyalty is not to the people or our nation.

For reasons not aligned with politicians on the right or left side of the aisle, I did not initially promote impeachment. This was not based on facts that Trump had not committed actions which were worthy of the process. I felt that his obvious mental incompetency offered sufficient reasons to remove him from office with the use of the 25^th amendment more than a year ago.

However, Republican politicians refused to serve the American people and remove the worst president in history from office. The right wing, including Fox Noise, are the enemies of the American people.

If you believe that the America of our founding fathers is worth saving, please vote on November 3, 2020, and encourage everyone you know to do the same. We can win the second American revolution. I would like to see America become a great nation in my lifetime. If we band together and place the people of our nation first, and end racism and bigotry, we will be allowed to wear the label of “great” for the first time.
