Backbone Campaign and NYC allies marked the kickoff of a nationwide tour of a giant Donald Trump puppet head on December 30,2017; by staging The Citizens Arrest of Donald Trump outside Trumps residence in Midtown Manhattan, demanding the United States to impeach and remove Donald Trump and set a national standard for leadership and accountability. Fact: Our founding fathers created three branches of government: Executive, Legislative, and Judicial. Each was given separate but equal powers; almost.
The reasons our founding fathers left England were based on the same principles of the Bill of Rights they created in 1789. They sought fair taxation, freedom from religious persecution, and, most importantly the guarantee that the United States of America would never be ruled by a monarch. To ensure this would never happen, Congress was given powers over the executive branch necessary to prevent any man from securing sufficient power to allow him to become omnipotent.
Whenever a sitting president is suspected of conflicts of interest or ethics violations, the House has a mandate to investigate those allegations. No man in the United States is above the law.
Today, federal court judge, Amit Mehta, ordered accounting firm Mazars to turn over accounting records from the time prior to Trump’s presidency to the House of Representatives.
This action is important in itself, but more importantly, Judge Mehta’s 41-page decision may influence other judges who are facing similar decisions related to other subpoenas.
Deutsche Bank and other financial institutions have been ordered to reveal their records related to financial arrangements between them and the Trump and Kushner families. Trump’s income tax records have also been subpoenaed. To date, Secretary of the Treasury, Steve Mnuchin, has refused to surrender the necessary documents. Under orders from Trump, fake-Attorney General, William Barr, has refused to surrender an uncensored copy of the Mueller report, as required by the Constitution.
In America, nearly every single legal situation can be reduced to “follow the money.” America is not a country; it is a business. The failed acceptance of capitalism has destroyed equality in America. The most famous mobster of all time, Al Capone, was not imprisoned for murder, his drug empire, or extortion. He lost his freedom because he lied on his tax returns.
The wealthy in America are seldom prosecuted fairly because they have the means to buy their freedom. The truth is that an honest man has nothing to hide; Trump is attempting to hide everything about his public and private life.
If you remember one thing from this article, know that the Constitution requires Congress to investigate the president when violations of criminal or immoral actions are alleged by any individual or group.
The truth will set America free.
Tell everyone; “The Truth Lives Here.”
