“A political system based on a very powerful leader, state control of social and economic life, and extreme pride in country and race, with no expression of political disagreement allowed.”
What or who do you think this definition belongs to? This definition is closely aligned with Trump’s political style. Trump’s “power” lies in the fact that his cowardly party allows him to do anything; even if it harms the nation or violates the Constitution. With Trump’s passage of “tax reform,” and his unilateral decision to implement tariffs, he is controlling the finances of every American. He is making the rich, richer, and increasing income inequality. His “America first” idea excludes interest in the future of the citizens of every other nation, including our allies. Anyone who criticizes Trump is immediately attacked and placed on his list of enemies.
The term is “fascism,” and it applies to Trump and his failed party.
Ted Cruz is one of the biggest hypocrites in the world. During the 2016 campaign he allowed Trump to personally attack himself, his wife, and his father. After he was forced to withdraw from his own pitiful campaign, he campaigned for Trump and now bows to him; accepting the orange man as his fuhrer.
After the female Governor of Alabama signed an unconstitutional law banning all abortions in the reddest state in the union, comic Jim Carrey painted a satire of the traitor to all women. It featured her own abortion. He added a caption: “If you’re going to terminate a pregnancy, it should be done sometime before the fetus becomes Governor of Alabama.”
The second worst senator in Washington, slightly behind Mitch McConnell, took offense.
“This is not OK. Today’s Left: vicious, angry & consumed by hate. Instead of insults & dehumanizing rage, we should return to civility. I disagree w/ Carrey’s politics, but believe we should respect his humanity nonetheless. I wish he could reciprocate.”
Carrey wasn’t finished. He created another painting; this one of Ted Cruz. Over his face was the following message.
“Some greasy Joe McCarthy wanna-be, who is shameless and will remain nameless, was lecturing me in the press about morality and civility after spending years in the Senate defending the rights of mass murderers to own AR-15s with which they massacre innocent children in their classrooms. I thought I must be dreaming, but I haven’t woken up yet. I guess this hypocrisy is the new American Dream.”
The Republican war on women will lose them multiple elections in the future. This is the “decade of the woman.” It began on January 21, 2017, was demonstrated on November 6, 2018 and will continue on November 3, 2020.
Trump and his entire hypocritical party must be forever banned from Washington.
Tell everyone; “The Truth Lives Here.”
