Congress issued a subpoena to have Trump’s tax returns delivered for examination by Democratic legislators. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin has rejected their demands. Mnuchin has offered numerous lies when explaining why he refuses to comply with the subpoena. Maybe the ignorant opportunist, who foreclosed on more homes than any other individual in 2008, doesn’t know what he’s doing?
An IRS agent states that turning over tax returns “is mandatory, requiring the Secretary to disclose returns, and return information, requested by the tax-writing Chairs.”
One fact subverts Trump’s desperation for secrecy: “An honest man has nothing to hide.”When Mnuchin appeared before the House Financial Services Committee he admitted that he had not read the subpoena. In other words; “I’m doing whatever Trump orders me to do; I know nothing about anything.”
This applies to every member of Trump’s circle of sinners. His cabinet and advisers are the least qualified group of pretenders ever to waste taxpayer money in history.
The right-wing will say and do anything to protect the worst president in American history. Let’s be completely honest here; not all of the 44 presidents who served prior to Trump were “great.” That term only applies to a few. “Good” applies to some. “Okay” applies to most. And “failure” is applicable to others. Trump’s vile presidency stands alone. He is America’s biggest mistake. He has caused more harm to our nation than all other American presidents combined.
Mnuchin is another billionaire selected by Trump to wage war on the working class. Our current government is an embarrassment to our nation and to the founding fathers whose vision of America is in great danger.
Take our country back on November 3, 2020. Vote ALL Republicans out of office.
