How Does One Real Republican Feel About a Donald Trump Presidency?

The Trump Party calls themselves “Republicans.” The truth is that they are “Republican in name only.” They lack the morals and principles of the once Grand Old Party. Serving the American people is not on their priority list. They make promises to win elections and when elected bow to lobbyists for the very rich, and the Christian religious right.
I was a proud Independent from 1967 until 2000. I have always believed that voting for the best candidate is intelligent and the right thing to do. I also believe that voting for a candidate for the sole reason that they have an “R” or a “D” next to their name is the height of ignorance.
I registered as a Democrat in 2000 which allowed me to vote in the primary. I foresaw George W. Bush as a danger to my country, and believed that Democrats must select the best possible candidate to defeat Bush and lead our nation. The sad truth is that they did elect a good and honest man, but the biased Supreme Court gave the presidency to Bush. Al Gore won the popular vote.
I believed that Bush was the worst president in history. He sent thousands of American soldiers to their deaths under false pretenses. Under his failed leadership we were engaged in two unwinnable wars. His economic policy of “trickle-down economics,” and refusal to control the banking industry placed our nation in a near depression. When he left office, the United States was trillions of dollars in debt and the unemployment rate was climbing. In 2017 the impossible happened.
Not only did millions of ignorant men and women elect the worst candidate in history, they chose to accept a man without morals, without principles, and a man whose loyalty was to another country. Trump is not only the worst president in history, he is the worst man on the face of the earth. His lies have divided our nation. Trump has intentionally attacked our very way of life.
Republican Representative, Justin Amash, recently called for Trump’s impeachment. He decided not to stand with the many cowards in the Republican Party in name only.
Today, a real Republican, who served in the House from 1976-1993 representing the state of Missouri, also called for impeachment. Tom Coleman said that Trump is an “illegitimate president because he welcomed help and influence from the Russians in his campaign.”
Coleman also cited the Mueller’s report which listed 10 instances which are undoubtedly obstruction of justice.
Is this the beginning of the end for Donald John Trump? Is it possible that our national nightmare could be coming to an end? Will other Republicans do the right thing and denounce their illegitimate president? We know they won’t be Mitch McConnell, Ted Cruz, Lindsey Graham, Chuck Grassley, John Cornyn, or any of the others who support their fuhrer without questioning his vile agenda. They are traitors to the people of their states and to the United States of America.
If Trump survives until election day 2020, we, the people, must flood the polls on November 3rd and send every Republican back under their rocks.
Tell everyone; “The Truth Lives Here.”
