For 243 years women have been fighting men; begging for their Constitutional rights. It’s time for them to demand equality and stop asking. If women were in control of Washington, and they should be, abortion and same-sex marriage would not be issues. The Christian religious right would not have a voice in our government. Men, especially old, white Republicans place money and elections ahead of the rights of the American people.
Trump, and traitor Mitch McConnell, recently ramrodded two anti-abortion men onto the Supreme court; Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh. Gorsuch has been quietly supporting the right-wing agenda. The fact that Kavanaugh is now a Supreme Court Justice is a travesty and a crime.
Like Trump, Kavanaugh has been accused of sexual assault by several women. Republican senators viciously attacked one woman who testified against him; Christine Blasey Ford. It was reminiscent of the Clarence Thomas hearings in 1991 and the unforgettable and unforgivable sexism directed against Anita HIll.
In a recent decision regarding abortion, Thomas proved once again that Republicans believe women are third class citizens. The right-wing tool claimed that some women who choose to have an abortion are guilty of “eugenicide.” If you don’t know what that term means, I didn’t either.
Eugenicide: “The killing of weak or defective people in an attempt to improve the gene pool.”
This is my article and I can write the truth: Clarence Thomas is an ass.
At about the age of sixteen, I became a feminist. I learned how women were treated in the workplace and listened to their stories about the demeaning way many men viewed and treated them.
We men have many faults. Our male egos result in the need to feel superior. Men become misogynists when they first realize that in many ways, women are superior to men. The most important attribute women possess is that for most of them, people are more important than money.
Our nation would be less likely to engage in wars if women led our nation. The future of the American people would take preference over corporations. Deliberation in congress would be reasonable; there would be no “dick measuring.” Universal healthcare and education would take precedence over tax breaks for the wealthy and increasing the Pentagon’s budget each year.
If the majority on the Supreme Court were women, the Constitution would be upheld and not stepped on whenever a partisan issue was placed before them.
Time for change; real change. Vote on November 3, 2020.
Tell everyone; “The Truth Lives Here.”
