England doesn’t want him to come. The people of England hate him. He has no influence in England’s government. So, why is Trump wasting taxpayer dollars to visit the country of our founding fathers?
Protests are planned; the largest being in Trafalgar Square on Tuesday when at least 40,000 anti-Trump protestors have announced their intentions on social media.
Trump’s failures as your illegitimate president and as a person inspired protests from his first full day in office. On January 21, 2017 the largest march in history took place in our nation’s capital. “The Women’s March on Washington” was a protest against the self-admitted sexual predator, but also against the policies of the entire Republican Party. Marches, supporting the event in Washington, occurred simultaneously across the nation.
Wherever and whenever Trump travels, there are protests. Every day writers, including yours truly, protest the lies, hypocrisy, the corruption, and the incompetence of Trump and his circle of sinners. Writers for the late-night talk shows have more material than they can use. Trump must receive the credit for one MSNBC television broadcast taking the number one ratings slot away from Fox Noise.Trump’s illegitimate presidency has a single positive result; in 2018 more voters cast their ballots in the midterm elections than at any other time in history. Americans are usually apathetic about elections which do not have a presidential candidate on the ballot. More women and more millennials went to the polls than ever before, and cast their ballots for Democratic and Independent candidates.
Once again, why is Trump wasting time traveling to England? For a single purpose; to soothe his ego. Meeting with the aging queen will be historical. He will be allowed to sit next to a true celebrity who will be remembered for decades to come.
Trump will be forgotten on January 22, 2021 when our nation celebrates a new and legitimate president.
