Which American Crisis Affects You the Most?

The same issues important to the American people on November 8, 2016 face America today. The man who won the Electoral College, who was obviously unqualified to lead our nation, is not concerned with this fact, and if he was, has no knowledge about how to solve these problems.
For most Americans the primary issue is healthcare.
The Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare, was only a beginning. It needed refinements to guarantee the future of President Obama’s greatest accomplishment; a step forward to ensure that all Americans had adequate medical insurance.
Trump’s first effort as your illegitimate president was to repeal Obamacare and put into action a replacement which would remove healthcare from approximately 24 million Americans. Fortunately, the last Republican in Washington, John McCain, cast the deciding vote which defeated Trumpcare while he was battling brain cancer.
In 2016 more than 50,000 Americans died from drug overdose related to the opioid crisis. During Trump’s first year in office that number rose to more than 70,000. He has done nothing. Our infrastructure is crumbling but the only structures repaired under Trump have been sections of old border walls.
The United States ranks 17th in education. Our economy will never become stable without qualified young men and women to lead our nation’s businesses. The American educational system is broken. Some of our brightest young minds cannot afford to attend our colleges and universities. Republicans are not concerned as long as the one-percent richest Americans continue to increase their bank accounts.
Income inequality is a growing problem. The middle class is disappearing. The largest group in the economic scale is now ‘low-income Americans.’ Together, low-income and impoverished men, women, and children compose nearly one-half of our nation’s population. Trump and the Trump Party refuse to raise the federal minimum wage, or take any other step to ensure that all Americans have an opportunity to live the American dream.
Under the Trump administration women have been reestablished as second-class citizens. Women’s rights have been ignored.
For the last three years there have been more mass shootings than days on the calendar. Trump and his party send their “thoughts and prayers” and do nothing about this problem which is non-existent in any other developed nation. This problem could easily be solved if Republicans would stop taking money from the NRA gun lobby.
Climate change is the greatest danger to world peace and Trumpenstein and his failed party pretend that it does not exist. More extreme weather is forecast each year. The polar ice cap is melting and the seas are rising.
There is no plan for compreshensive immigration reform other than a foolhardy wall.
The Republican Party has divided our nation and with Trump as our illegitimate president that division is now at a level not seen since the Civil War.
The Trump Party, led by failure Mitch McConnell, remains the “party of no.”
Some issues have worsened including racism, our relationships with Muslim nations, and the people’s lack of faith in their government.
Trump is a failure, and has been throughout his entire life
