For Trump, his illegitimate presidency is a new and very lucrative business. He is not a president; he is an “entrepreneur.” Every day he uses your tax dollars to pay for his and his family’s lives of luxury and privilege.
Beginning with his small inauguration, which collected more money than any other in history, Trump has accepted millions of dollars in what can only be termed as “pay for play.”
His foreign business interests have grown, and foreign dignitaries have spent millions at Trump properties. Actions by foreign agents were intended to receive favors from Trump and his administration have become “business as usual,” in the White House and at Mar-a-Lago.
Elliott Broidy is a top Republican fundraiser. He is under investigation for using his position as the vice-chair of Trump’s inaugural fund committee to influence business deals with foreign leaders.
CBS is reporting that: “Prosecutors appear to be investigating whether Broidy exploited his access to Trump for personal gain and violated the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, which makes it illegal for U.S. citizens to offer foreign officials ‘anything of value’ to gain a business advantage.” Things of value in this case could have been an invitation to the January 2017 inaugural events or access to Trump.
The truth is that Trump’s administration has wasted more money than any in history. They have used the National Treasury as their personal bank.
