The media pays far too much attention to Trump’s lies about dangerous immigrants entering America through our southern border. In 2018 Customs and Border Patrol reported six known or suspected criminals detained while attempting to cross the border from Mexico.
More than 50 percent of the illegal immigration; immigrants who present a danger to our country and to the American people arrive legally by commercial air travel or our seaports. Drug traffickers, felons, and possible terrorists are granted entry based on possession of a “visitor’s visa” and simply never leave. This is the source of the majority of illegal immigration from nations around the world and the media refuses to report the facts.
In a 12-month period between August 2017 and August 2018 the CBP reported more than 700,000 individuals entered the United States in possession of visitor’s visas and are now hiding in plain sight.
If our government is serious, this is where the focus must be. This is a growing problem and there are insufficient resources to address the problem.
Sadly, Trump’s supporters and the media accept the con man’s lies and believe that asylum seekers coming from South America are a danger to our nation.
Time to get a brain and get real!
