Even Kentucky’s Republican Governor Indicates that his State has “had Enough” of Mitch McConnell

When our nation is eventually freed from Mitch McConnell there will be a huge celebration. During his nearly 35 years in the senate he has accomplished nothing for the people of America or the people of Kentucky. He created the “party of no,” and is the reason our government is dysfunctional. It was McConnell who stood before the press in 2009 and promised that his party would do nothing as long as ‘that black man remained in the White House.’ He kept that promise. Republicans have accomplished nothing for our nation during the last 10 years.

Yesterday I learned that McConnell will have a qualified and serious challenge in November 2020 when he runs for his seventh term in the senate. McConnell has become the poster boy for congressional term limits.

Kentucky’s Republican Governor, Matt Bevin, has endorsed McConnell. However, when he challenged the worst senator in history in 2014, he said this about the old man.

He argued that “[c]areer politician Mitch McConnell can’t defend his big government, big spending record,” has been a proponent of term limits for years.

Bevin obviously suggested that the failed senator should step down from his position in the senate.

Prior to the 2016 election, McConnell was a member of the “anybody but Trump” coalition. After his election he became another tool of this illegitimate and unfit president. McConnell is a traitor to the American people. His personal ambitions and his party take precedence over the United States of America and the people of this country.

Just last week on a radio interview Bevin suggested that remaining in office for a lengthy period of time would make an elected official stagnant and inefficient.

“Sometimes, the longer you stay in something — disconnected from another something — the less you understand it, the less you’re able to interface with it, the less you’re able to effectively help it,” Bevin observed.

The average age of the American people is 37.8 years of age. The average age of congress is 60. McConnell will be 78 on election day, November 3, 2020. He is far too old to be in touch with the American people.

Former Marine Corp combat fighter pilot, Amy McGrath is challenging McConnell for his seat; she will be 45 on election day.
