The media will never admit the truth. They share in the responsibility for “rigging” the 2016 election. Coverage of Trump’s hate rallies was five-times greater than the coverage of all other candidates combined. When his paid liar, Kellyanne Conway, or others including Mike Pence appeared on television, the personalities claiming to be newspersons allowed them to avoid answering questions and attack Hillary Clinton with lies and innuendos. The media held Mrs. Clinton to an impossibly high standard while giving Trump a free pass.

This pattern continues today. The Sunday talk shows are failing the American people. Nearly all of the statements made by Trump’s circle of sinners are lies and they are allowed to get away with whatever their agenda might be.

When Tim Russert hosted “Meet the Press” guests were treated like an episode of “60 Minutes” featuring Mike Wallace. Chuck Todd is a failure. I never missed the broadcast when Mr. Russert was alive; I haven’t watched it for years.

Bob Schieffer was an excellent moderator on “Face the Nation.” He retired and was replaced by John Dickerson, which didn’t work. Today Margaret Brennan is the host. For years I admired her as a competent journalist. However, she refuses to challenge members of the Trump administration today.

I never watched the ABC Sunday “news” show. They have never had a moderator I respected.

Television “news” is no longer a member of the fourth estate. It’s all about the money directly related to advertising. The moderators are all millionaires and have surrendered their integrity for lives of luxury and privilege.

If the mainstream media told the truth, Trump would have been impeached before the end of his first year. He is a fascist, the leader of white nationalism in America, a sexual predator, and has refused to tell the truth once in his last term in office. (I hope and pray).

I have not watched a television “news” broadcast since November 9, 2016, and I never will. I refuse to be lied to or listen to half-truths from people who do not deserve my respect.
