Women, minorities, the LGBTQ community, Muslims, gun safety groups, low-income Americans; these are some of the demographics who are joining the second American Revolution. Over the last 30+ years our government moved further to the right in support of special interests while ignoring the vast majority of our nation’s people. With Trump as the leader of the current Republican Party in name only, the right-wing has become the enemy of all real Americans.

The revolution began on January 21, 2017 when the streets of our cities were filled with women and the men who supported them. Protests against Trump’s policies, and against Trump personally have continued over his two years, five months and 24 days; not only in the United States but  around the world.

In America the working class is the majority. One-half of this majority is composed of men, women, and children living below the poverty line and in the low-income level; just one paycheck away from falling into poverty.

Republicans continue to fight every effort by working men and women to receive fair pay and benefits from their employers. The right-wing lies to the American people, claiming that increasing the minimum wage would cost Americans jobs, although this has never happened in history.

July 15 and 16 are “Amazon Prime Days.” Every year Amazon greatly reduces prices on thousands of products. These days have been extremely successful; but apparently not for employees of one of the largest companies in the world. Workers in a Shakopee, Minnesota, Amazon warehouse are staging a walkout for six hours of Prime Day to protest harsh working conditions.

This is the first protest against Amazon in the United States, although several have occurred in Europe.

I want to challenge all real Americans; the working class. We can hold the largest protest in history on November 3, 2020. With a record turnout at the polls we can defeat the enemy once and for all and win the revolution. Send traitor Mitch McConnell and his stooges home and replace them with younger, more progressive candidates who will serve all Americans.

Vote; do the right thing for yourselves and your families.
