Most Americans know one difference between Democrats and Republicans. Republicans call themselves “conservatives,” when in truth they support special interests and their own party. Democrats; real Democrats; are progressive and support the ideals and principles of past great presidents including the greatest American president of all time, Franklin Delano Roosevelt; known as “the people’s president.”

The difference between the two major political parties which defines them most accurately is never discussed. Republicans stand together as one on every issue, even when they know that issue will harm our country and our nation’s people. Democrats openly disagree with each other about issues and policies. The former is fascist, and the latter is pure American.

America’s government is only effective when members of both parties deliberate issues and find compromise for the good of the people. Our government has been dysfunctional since January of 2009 when traitor Mitch McConnell promised that his party would do nothing while a black man was in the White House. He has kept that promise for ten years. For example; the House passed more than 100 bills since January 3, 2019; McConnell has refused to allow a senate vote on every one of these prospective laws. McConnell is the problem and the only solution is for the voters of Kentucky to send him home in 2020.

When the two major parties refuse to communicate with each other America is in danger. This Republican Party in name only became the “Trump Party” in 2017. They have displayed their cowardice by ignoring the American people and serving the fascist policies of Donald John Trump, the worst president in America’s history.

Finally, Republicans, and their propaganda machine, Fox Noise, are constantly criticizing freshman Representatives Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, Rashida Tlaib, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for their efforts to represent the Americans who elected them and the environment. The truth is that they are afraid of them.

One of Fox’ paid fools, Tucker Carlson, is obviously in a contest with Sean Hannity to see who can stick his nose the farthest up Trump’s humongous derriere. Trump continues to racially attack these four women who have become known as the “squad.” Naturally, Carlson defended the leader of white supremacy in America.

“Six months ago, these were just four young lefties in a sea of 235 House Democrats. Now, they are the Democratic Party. If you don’t believe it, you must have missed the press conference all the channels took live on Monday. The congresswomen said a lot which will help define the Democratic Party going forward. For example, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts, explaining that the president is not really the president?”

 “The remarks from the occupant of our White House — I will always refer to him as the ‘occupant’ as he is only occupying space, and does not embody the grace, the empathy, the compassion, the integrity that that office requires and that the American people deserve,” she said.

I pray that Carlson is right; these four women are representative of what the Democratic Party should be. Over the last 30 years it began to lose its way and moved towards the right. Big mistake and the American people have suffered for this transition. Led by “the squad” the Party of Roosevelt will once again place the needs and wishes of the people first.
