For the last two years, five months and 27 days we have not been living in America. Nothing has been normal, and contrary to Trump’s cult followers, that is not a good thing. The focus of the entire nation, at least those of us who pay attention to what is happening in Washington, has been on the antics of a self-serving egomaniac who is void of morals, dignity, integrity, loyalty, and intelligence.

His goals are not the goals of the American people. His loyalty is not to the United States of America. His lack of experience and willingness to learn how to perform the job gifted to him by the Electoral College is harming our country every day. His regressive policies destroyed advances made over the last 60+ years.

An effort to impeach Trump has been placed before the House. I doubt that the “old guard” will support it. Regardless, Mitch McConnell will quash it in the senate.

It may or may not serve the purpose of exposing Trump’s past and current crimes, therefore we must concentrate on the one way we can guarantee that the orange man is exiled to his garish golden group home in New York City. We must have a record voter turnout on November 3, 2020.

The only fact that matters is what a large voter turnout means to America’s future. Republicans continue to attempt acts which would suppress voter turnout. This is fascism. Their efforts are based on historical facts.

First, a large voter turnout signals a victory for Democrats and Independents. When change is the goal, progressive voters flock to the polls in large numbers. America has never needed a huge voter turnout more.

Second, Republicans are incapable of governing. This fact is proven easily by one measurable statistic. When Democrats and Independents are in control of our government, the majority enjoys a far greater quality of life. Republicans support special interests and only the wealthy experience the advantages of living in America when they are dominant. Under the Clinton administration the deficit was eliminated and he left office knowing that our national treasury had a surplus. Under George W. Bush and Trump the deficit has grown.

If you enjoy your freedoms and if you love your country, please vote. Only the American people can save America. We can defeat the enemy; the enemy in this revolution is today’s Republican Party in name only.
