No American president should align himself with the leaders of any foreign nation. Although Trump’s lies include “America first,” he chooses to support despots and murderers from other nation’s as his closest friends and allies.
His bromance with Vladimir Putin has become as legendary as it is controversial. The Mueller report offered irrefutable facts that Putin’s interference in the 2016 election aided Trump’s win in the Electoral College. After the election they continued to meet secretly and continue to engage in telephone conversations on a regular basis. Although Trump claimed not to know Putin during the 2016 campaign, history proves that they first met in 1987 in Moscow.
Trump is indebted to the Saudi royal family. In 1995 Trump’s businesses were nearing bankruptcy. The Saudis bailed him out by investing in those businesses. When journalist and dissident, Jamal Khashoggi, was tortured and dismembered with the full knowledge of Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman Trump defended his benefactor. He and some members of his cowardly party are the only individuals in the world who deny the facts.
Trump is a disgrace to all 44 presidents he illegitimately succeeded, and many of them have been proven to be less than adequate as or nation’s leaders.
Trump has attempted to bully the leaders of Iran. After tearing up the nuclear agreement negotiated by President Obama and John Kerry, he began telling falsehoods about aggression by the Middle East country. Just days ago, war seemed inevitable after Trump ordered the bombing of Iranian cities. While in midair he changed his mind and ordered them back to the aircraft carriers and bases in the region.
There continues to be animosity between Iran and Saudi Arabia. The Daily Kos reports the following.
“Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif said Monday that if President Donald Trump truly wants to engage in good-faith negotiations over Iran’s ballistic missile program, his administration must stop selling tens of billions of dollars in weapons to Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and other U.S. allies in the Middle East.”
Without congressional approval Trump ordered the sale of arms to Saudi Arabia, and later handed them our nation’s nuclear secrets.
“So, if they want to talk about our missiles,” Zarif added, “they need first to stop selling all these weapons, including missiles, to our region.”
“It is the United States that left the bargaining table, and they’re always welcome to return,” said Zarif, who described the Trump administration’s sanctions as a form of warfare “whose main target is not military personnel, but civilians.”
Trump is the greatest danger to world peace in modern history. A real president would use diplomacy and make every effort possible to prevent another unwinnable war in the Middle East. Trump lacks the intelligence to understand the effect of his hasty and unwise decisions.
