The only logical explanation for millions of men and women who continue to support the worst illegitimate president in history is that they have chosen to be members of a cult.
Cult: “A misplaced or excessive admiration for a particular person or thing.”
Trump has never told the truth once in his entire life. When he was recruited to be the 2016 presidential candidate of the Republican Party in 2015 by Vladimir Putin, he created a multitude of conspiracy theories intended to confuse the electorate. He closely followed the primary belief of Adolf Hitler; “tell a lie often enough and the weak-minded will eventually accept it as fact.”
In 1969 Charles Manson’s followers believed that a predicted a revolution between blacks and whites he called “helter skelter” was inevitable.
He brainwashed both men and women. They trusted him; believing that he was a messiah. The aftermath has been reported for decades. Manson finally died in prison in 2017.
When Trump declared his candidacy in June of 2015, he promised his supporters that he would change the direction of our dysfunctional government. As his campaign progressed it became obvious that he was a white supremacist and believed that democracy was unacceptable. His support of fascism was obvious and yet it was ignored by the mainstream media.
His followers had become a cult. They believed then, and continue to believe today, that he will save America; an America controlled by old, white, rich men.
The truth is that Trump is an opportunist; a con man who preyed upon the weak-minded and bigoted men and women who feared the changes in America which would alter the negative direction of the past 30+ years.
Trump is the “Charles Manson of the 21st century.” He has brainwashed ignorant men and women who support white nationalism and a belief in capitalism as the only basis for their chosen lives of luxury and privilege.
Manson used an altruistic goal to control the actions of his followers. Trump controls his followers with lies and false promises. Both men understood the effect of creating a cult which would support their vile beliefs regardless of fact which opposed their claims and a common doctrine.
A cult cannot exist unless its followers choose to be ignorant. No one can make any other person believe lies and innuendos. Becoming ignorant is a choice. Refusing to listen to the ideas and beliefs of others breeds stupidity and results in unwarranted anger and hatred.
So, congratulations Trump supporters; you have reached the pinnacle of ignorance.
