There is no doubt that Republicans are the party of special interests and exist because of lies and billions of dollars in donations from billionaires. Republican Senator from Maine, Susan Collins, is a member of this party which fails to serve the majority of all Americans.
Her reelection on November 3, 2020 is in jeopardy. Her position on the issues opposes the wishes of the people and the people of Maine have noticed.
Senator Susan Collins, the Maine Republican, told 60 Minutes that a grassroots funding drive for her eventual Democratic opponent was “classic quid pro quo” and bribery. “I think that if our politics has come to the point where people are trying to buy votes and buy positions, then we are in a very sad place.”
Okay, Ms. Hypocrite, you recently accepted millions of dollars for your campaign from several Super PACs. You have been ‘bought and paid for’ multiple times by big business. You supported Brett Kavanaugh and in essence called his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, a liar. You were one of the traitors who confirmed a sexual predator by the lowest margin in the senate’s history.
Collins is one all Republican Senators who have allowed Mitch McConnell to prevent a floor vote on more than 100 bills passed by the House since January 3, 2019.
Senator Collins’ complaints on 60 minutes were about democracy, not the fascist beliefs of this Republican Party in name only. She has undoubtedly joined her fellow cowards and “drank the Kool-Aid.”
For America it is important that this old, white woman be removed from the senate. She has outlived her usefulness, and her seat is a key to Democrats ousting Mitch McConnell from his position of treasonous power.
Real change involves placing Democrats in control of the executive and legislative branches of our government. Democracy and our freedoms can be saved if we all vote and send the enemy home.
