When did the entire Republican Party become fascists? They attack free speech, reject the fact that diversity is growing quickly in America, and support white nationalism.
Prior to Trump’s illegitimate presidency our nation’s leaders attempted to inspire and motivate the American people. The great orators, including Bill Clinton and Barrack Obama, inspired patriotism and gave us hope.
Trump and the Trump Party criticize everyone who disagrees with their fascist policies and goals. They love the second amendment but hate the first. If the media exposed every lie and every vile and vicious comment from the right-wing, it would soon disappear from our nation’s capital.
After Trump’s blatant racist attacks on Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashid Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley, some Republicans doubled-down on his vicious and fallacious attacks.
In Illinois, the Republican County Chairman’s Committee called “The Squad” the “Jihad Squad.” Other text on the image included the phrase, “Political jihad is their game,” and, “If you don’t agree with their socialist ideology, you’re racist.” On the bottom right corner of the meme is the Illinois Republican group’s logo.
These men and women hate America. “The Squad” is composed of four freshman Representatives who support the needs and wishes of the American people. They shun special interests and have not lied to their constituents once. Their diversity and principles are the future of America. Old, white Republicans are the past.
Younger, more progressive Americans will be leading our nation throughout the 21st century. You are either with them, or you can join Trump and his circle of sinners and be left behind. I am very pleased to recognize these four women as the new leaders of the Democratic Party.
