Insight into Republican’s Views about Racism

“I would say in general the whole, ‘America: love it or leave it’ is not a new sentiment,’ Johnson, who was born in 1955, told CNN’s Dana Bash Sunday morning. ‘You know, back in the ’60s that wasn’t considered racist.’”

Ron Johnson is a Republican Senator from the state of Wisconsin. He was defending Trump’s latest act of blatant racism when he attacked four diverse freshman members of the House of Representatives.

I want to know what sort of crowd Johnson hung around with when he was much younger. I am 73 and the right-wing senator is 64, and several statements made by Trump including “go back to where you came from” were extremely racist in my formative years.

Johnson proves my allegation that today’s Republican Party in name only is 100 percent racist. They are not required to admit the truth; we know by their actions and inactions that they consider minorities inferior and unworthy of equal treatment under the law.

White supremacy is rampant within the men and women who call themselves conservatives. Prior to Trump’s illegitimate presidency real Americans would occasionally catch a glimpse of the real attitude of politicians on the right-wing. Today they have a leader who illegitimately holds the highest office in the land, and is without question the leader of all white nationalists in America.

Not a single man or woman who claims to be a Republican has come forward to condemn Trump for his disgusting attack on Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, or Rashid Tlaib. These strong young women will not be intimidated by the bully-child defiling the White House. They are four of few elected officials who have displayed the courage to label Trump for what he is. They are fighting for you and me; for America.

Trump claims that they hate America. Untrue. They hate the man in the Oval Office who is pretending to be an American but in fact is a fascist and supporter of autocratically led nations.

These four women are perfect examples of why term limits must be imposed on congress. Pelosi, Schumer, and other members of the “old guard” in the Democratic party represent the past. It’s time for change; for the Democratic Party to return to its principles and fight for the people. We are the party of progressive actions and rhetoric and we should display our pride about this important fact.

On the other side of the aisle, McConnell, Grassley, and many other old, white men have displayed that they are useless and unconcerned about their nation or the people who elected them.

Two terms in the senate are enough. Three terms in the House are enough. If they fail to accomplish what they promised by that time they never will.

Johnson is just another racist, failed member of a dying and incompetent party. Time for him to go, and time for the media to call racists out for what they are.

“The Truth Lives Here.” Tell everyone about my blog; they deserve the full truth based on irrefutable facts.
