Ilhan Omar is a Representative from Minnesota. She has been at the center of Trump’s racial rants for the last week. As a member of “the Squad,” she is the only immigrant. Her parents escaped Somalia when she was ten years old.

Marco Rubio is a failed Senator from Florida, who also failed miserably as a presidential candidate. He is the son of immigrants who escaped from the Castro regime in Cuba. Apparently, he is a sexist and in denial.

A statement by Congresswoman Omar resulted in Rubio’s most recent attacks against this Muslim woman.

“Our country should be more fearful of white men,” she says in the footage, which currently has more than 2.7 million views on Twitter alone due to a viral tweet from a Daily Caller reporter. “We should be profiling, monitoring, and creating policies to fight the radicalization of white men.”

Rubio’s response: “I am sure the media will now hound every Democrat to denounce this statement as racist. Right?” he asked rhetorically.

First we need to inform the ignorant senator that white men have all the privileges allowed by the Constitution and cannot be honestly labeled as a race.

Here’s the truth Rubio is ignoring. Fact number one; white, domestic terrorism is the greatest danger to public safety in America. Number two; Republicans continue their war on women. Women continue to be treated as second-class citizens. The right-wing supports the Christian Religious right and ignores the Constitutional rights of our nation’s majority. Third; Representative Omar is right about the danger of white men in America. Their lives of privilege offer them opportunities not afforded to men of color or women. Our legal system has a separate standard for white men and another for all other demographics.

Hate crimes, committed by mostly white men, have increased by 800 percent since Trump was nominated in July of 2016.

Is Ms. Omar wrong? Definitely not. There are two Americas. One is for all-whites and the other is for our diverse population. The Squad is fighting for the real United States of America. They believe in principles, morals, equality, and equal rights for everyone.

Rubio, Trump, McConnell, and other Republicans continue to believe in the superiority of white men.

Change is coming. Our nation’s diversity is growing far more quickly than anyone could have imagined. Pure whites will be the minority is just a few decades. Baby boomers are no longer the largest voting demographic in America. Millennials have the ability to control every election for many years to come.

Millennials are far less likely to be racists, sexist, capitalists, or choose to belong to a major religion. Trump and his circle of sinners cannot stop social change in America, but we can stop them. The old, white men in Washington are our nation’s past. They are out of touch with a diverse nation which averages 37.8 years of age.

The Squad is today’s America, whether the old guard in Washington likes it or not. Follow or get the hell out of the way.
