Who is Mitch McConnell? The shortest answer is “a traitor to the American people.” He has lied to the people of Kentucky and our nation for more than 30 years. He served his party and himself throughout his tenure in the senate. Since January 20, 2017 he has served Fuhrer Donald Trump.

Every security agency has offered proof that Russia interfered with the 2016 election. Statistics prove that agents for Vladimir Putin accomplished their goals. Less than 80,000 votes in three states gave Trump a victory in the Electoral College.

Just Yesterday, during his testimony before congress, Robert Mueller stated that Russia continues to intervene in our election process. Republicans are not taking this seriously, or maybe they continue to invite Russia’s criminal actions; hoping they will help Trump win reelection.

McConnell once again proved that he is a traitor to the American people on Thursday. After Democratic Senators introduced a package containing several bills which would add safeguards to our elections, McConnell blocked them. He lied once again as he called them “political,” and “partisan.”

This is from the a**hole who wouldn’t allow hearings for Supreme Court nominee, Merrick Garland, and more recently refused to allow any participation by Democrats in legislation related to healthcare and tax reform. He and Trump have governed in a purely partisan manner, and this is the reason our government remains dysfunctional. In addition; the House has passed more than 100 bills since January 3, 2017, and McConnell will not allow a vote on the floor of the Senate on any of them. He is opposed to the Constitution and the principles of our founding fathers.

It was McConnell who prevented the American people from having information that Russia was attempting to “rig” our election in October of 2016.

The most important right guaranteed by the Constitution is our right to vote. If McConnell refuses to protect that right, he must be impeached. He is in direct violation of the first amendment. This old man must lose his reelection bid on November 3, 2020.

Republicans do not serve the American people. They support special interests and ignore the needs and wishes of 320 million men, women, and children. They must be retired.
