“Steel was dead. Your business was dead. Okay? I don’t want to be overly crude. Your business was dead. And I put a little thing called ‘a 25 percent tariff’ on all of the dumped steel all over the country. And now your business is thriving” Trump said, in the same Monaca, Pennsylvania, speech at which he had a coerced audience of workers told they’d lose pay if they didn’t attend. “And I’ll tell you what,” he added later, “Those steel mills—U.S. Steel and all of them, all of them—they’re expanding all over the place. New mills. New expansions. We hadn’t have—we didn’t have a new mill built in 30 years, and now we have many of them going up.”
Of course, this is all lies. The biggest lie was about a growing steel business in America. The truth is that this same steel plant is laying off employees. Management believes the unemployment will be temporary; an estimate of six-months was offered to reporters.
Fact; American businesses are not growing and are not coming back to America. Some parts of the automobile industry are laying off workers and moving their factories to other nations. Harley Davidson has moved a part of its business overseas. Most of our electronics and toys continue to be manufactured in foreign nations.
Every American should refuse to listen to anything Trump says. Anytime his lips or thumbs are moving, he’s lying. He has never told the truth once in his life. Every time he stands before one of his hate rallies, he makes up lies as he’s speaking. Trump lacks the ability to think before he speaks. Anything which will receive a response from his cult is fair game for this egomaniac.
When the recession happens; and it will; he will be exposed and even members of his cult will disavow the orange man.
Republicans and recession are synonyms.
Tell everyone “the truth lives here.”
