“The Art of the Deal” was Trump’s biggest lie ever. He has no talent for negotiation. His only tactic is to bully his adversaries. The orange man is attempting to do just that with China, and he will fail miserably.
Trump is attending the G7 summit in France this weekend. The word is that he is planning a second trade war with the European Union.
Before he boarded Marine One, he told reporters that ‘he has the right to tell American businesses not to do business with China.’ I don’t understand exactly where he finds these lies. He definitely does not live in my world. I believe that big companies such as General Motors will simply say “f**k you, Mr. President.”
I am very concerned about what he may do to our relationships with our allies this weekend. Last year he refused to sign the Paris Accord and upset every leader present at the summit. Trump’s only interest is about issues which concern money. If he begins a trade war with England, France, or Germany, not only will our businesses suffer, American consumers will have less disposable income.
Economists are forecasting a recession; it’s up to Trump how large that recession becomes. The path he has our nation on today is leading to a bigger recession than the one caused by the last Republican president in 2008.
Why should we expect a successful fiscal policy from a man who declared bankruptcy five times? Trump has proven that he spends money like a billionaire, but loses more than he spends. He owes the Saudi Royal family and Russian oligarchs for bailing him out in 1995 and again in 2005.
Let’s send “the biggest loser” back to his garish tower. Vote on November 3, 2020 and encourage everyone you know to do the same. Let’s take back our country from Trump and his hypocritical party.
Tell everyone, “the truth lives here.”
