How Can Anyone Believe Trump when He Doesn’t Believe in his Own Words?

Trump offered a conflicting message to the members of the G7 and the world on Saturday. While meeting with British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, Trump appeared to reveal regret that he began a trade war with China.

“Yeah. For sure,” Mr. Trump told reporters when asked if he has second thoughts about escalating the conflict, adding he has “second thoughts about everything.”

But hours later, White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham issued a statement saying Mr. Trump was “greatly misinterpreted,” saying he only responded “in the affirmative — because he regrets not raising the tariffs higher.” Grisham is Trump’s latest paid liar.

Once again, Trump doesn’t know what Trump is doing. Contradictions within his own administration prove once again that this is a White House in chaos.

It’s not a good thing that Trump is unpredictable. This trait lost billions of dollars in the business world, but to effectively govern more than 320 million Americans, a president must be able to think about every issue carefully and with the assistance of has many advisers. Trump’s decisions are always rash and often unilateral.

Trump’s mental incompetence disqualifies him from being the leader of the free world. He is unfit for the office he now holds. As a loyal American, I am embarrassed that he is our nation’s representative at the G7 this week. Trump is not America nor an American president.

Tell everyone, “the truth lives here.”
