A “Bearish” Stock Market the Sign of an Impending Recession?

Wall Street Insiders are selling stocks as quickly as they did in 2007, according to men and women who work on the floor of the stock market. More than $600 million of stocks have been sold each day. I would be curious to know how many shares of stock the Trump organization is dumping; wouldn’t you?

August completes five months of selling by insiders, and it tops $10 billion. The only time this occurred previously was in 2006 and 2007; just before the great recession of 2008.

America’s leading economists are predicting a recession. Those who truly understand the Market are aware that ‘insecurity’ is the greatest danger of a likely crash. Stocks being sold in large numbers, especially by insiders, contribute greatly to a high level of uncertainty.

“It signals a lack of confidence,” said Winston Chua, an analyst at TrimTabs. “When insiders sell, it’s a sign they believe valuations are high and it’s a good time to be outside the market.”

Trump’s claims that his policies stimulated the economy have been proven fallacious. The positive effects he claims as his own were begun under President Obama’s administration.

The negative effects I’m reporting in this article are Trump’s and Trump’s alone. His support of trickle-down economics by giving tax breaks to the super wealthy; then later again with his misnamed “tax reform;” along with massive tax cuts for corporations added to our nation’s deficit, and were gifts to the wealthy.

When Trump unilaterally levied tariffs on imports, the result became a trade war with the world’s second largest economy. The market is reacting to this extended battle with no end in sight.

Consumers are experiencing higher prices on everything from clothing to electronics.

The truth is, Trump has no idea what he’s doing. He failed miserably in the private sector, and is failing an entire nation today.

Tell everyone, “the truth lives here.”
