Tropical depression Dorian is approaching Puerto Rico. Trump is almost as concerned as he was when Hurricane Maria devasted the island of more than three-million Americans. How concerned is he? He embezzled $155 million from FEMA and gave it to Ice. It’s more important to place additional Hispanics in his concentration camps than care for millions of American citizens.
Trump is not allowed to claim that he is not a racist. He is the epitome of an old, white racist man in America. I believe our country should have a real American president. He or she should elevate our nation’s people and offer them hope for a better future. Trump is filled with hate; his illiterate rhetoric is angry and vengeful, and invites others to join him into our nation’s dark past.
I, and millions of other Americans, cannot look at Donald John Trump without feeling disgust, and fear for a once respected nation which is now embarrassed by the orange man who dares to claim the title of President of the United States.
Immediately after the “Women’s March on Washington” on January 21, 2017, Trump’s first paid liar, Kellyanne Conway, stood before the television cameras and claimed that whether or not we voted for Trump, we must respect him because he was our president.
First of all, respect is earned not freely given. For my entire life I have known that without respect, humans are not worthy of living in society; respect for others and respect for ourselves. Donald Trump does not deserve that term; he has no respect for others, and the more we learn about his depraved and criminal past, he has no respect for himself.
Lastly, Trump will never be my president. He does not represent me, you, or the majority of America’s people.
Donny boy, morals, principles, integrity, dignity, and of course respect are important qualities and are mandatory for any man or woman who would be our president. You have none of these qualities.
Tell everyone, “the truth lives here.”
