Rex Tillerson was unqualified to be the Secretary of State. His close personal and business relationships with Vladimir Putin were likely the sole reason he was chosen by Robert Mercer for the job. Sadly, Mike Pompeo is no better. His lack of diplomatic skills are comparable to those of his master, Donald Trump.

After two failed meetings with Kim Jong-un, Pompeo is now leading negotiations with North Korean officials. Meanwhile, the small nation continues testing missiles.

North Korean officials called their discussions with Pompeo “thoughtless,” and called him a “rogue.”

North Korean First Vice Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui warned the United States not to “test North Korea’s patience.”

North Korea hits Pompeo for ‘thoughtless’ comments, warns hopes for talks are dimming

A senior North Korean diplomat fired back at Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Saturday after the U.S. official called the nation’s behavior “rogue,” warning that hopes for talks between the Washington and Pyongyang are fading.

North Korean First Vice Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui denounced Pompeo’s “thoughtless” comments and cautioned that the U.S. shouldn’t put North Korea’s “patience to the test” if officials want to see a mutually satisfactory agreement between the two nations, the Associated Press reports.

“Our expectations of dialogue with the U.S. are gradually disappearing and we are being pushed to re-examine all the measures we have taken so far,” Choe said in a statement carried by state media.

“We are very curious about the background of the American top diplomat’s thoughtless remarks and we will watch what calculations he has. The U.S. had better not put any longer our patience to the test with such remarks irritating us if it doesn’t want to have bitter regrets afterward,” Choe added.

Let’s see; Trump tried to bully China, and the North Koreans apparently hate Pompeo. The men who are supposed to be our top negotiators are useless. Great administration! These are Trump’s “best people?!” Really!

I have watched 12 presidents come and go. None of the administrations which preceded Trump’s had such poorly qualified advisers. In Washington today it’s ‘dumb leading dumber.’

Time for change; time for real leaders to replace this three-ring circus. Pleas vote on November 3, 2020.
