Trump’s approval rating among real Americans is far lower than reported. Only his cult and cowardly Republican politicians continue to protect the worst man in America.

Here is some more truth the media refuses to tell you. Trump trails all major Democratic candidates by double digits in the latest polls. He failed to receive more than 40 percent in each poll. Most significantly Trump’s failed fiscal policies are destroying the recovery begun by President Obama, and for the first time most Americans believe that the economy is in decline.

It’s a fact that the media, primarily television “news,” was partly responsible for Trump’s illegitimate win in the Electoral College. The worst candidate in history received five-times more coverage than all other candidates combined and was held to the lowest standard possible. Why are they hiding the truth about him today? Do they want Trump to win a second term?

Here’s the truth, and to be blunt, it’s disgusting. It’s another situation of “follow the money.”

When I was a young man in the 1950’s and 1960’s television news was not popular and not profitable. Led by “the most trusted man in America,” Walter Cronkite, the evening news was one-half hour of information; no opinions and no banter. I believe we have less ‘real’ news today. What the television news does have in 2019 is advertising.

Advertising dollars pour into the networks today. The more sensational the subject, the more advertisers are willing to pay. Trump’s ridiculous antics sell time on the networks.

Let’s face it, Hillary was boring. She spoke about the issues. When she attempted to be humorous, she was not. What she was, simply put, was the most qualified presidential candidate in history.

Lies of omission are more harmful than direct falsehoods, and network “news” broadcasters fail the American people every day. If they had fully covered Trump’s own admissions of racism, and the facts that he was a sexual predator and had sexually assaulted at least 20 women, he would not be in the White House today.

On November 9, 2016 I swore that I would never watch another television “news” broadcast again; I have kept that promise to myself. I refuse to be lied to. Join me, you’ll be happy you did. More reading; less time watching the “boob tube.”

Tell everyone, “the truth lives here.”
