Since 1986 Fox Noise has been lying to the American people. Founded by Rupert Murdoch and controlled by Roger Ailes, the fake-news network was designed to be a propaganda machine for the right-wing; the more extreme the better. A relatively new “news” agency is now telling more outrageous lies and spewing fascist ideas and policies.

Sinclair Broadcasting is a tightly run source of “alternative facts.” Every one of its stations in every state is a carbon copy of the other. All of their fake journalists follow a script for the most important stories of the day; there is no room for free thought or free speech.

Last year the FCC prevented Sinclair from purchasing Tribune Media. They would have had a near monopoly of our nation’s media broadcasts at 72 percent.

Trump recently began to show displeasure with the few legitimate journalists at Fox and has been leaning more towards Sinclair’s network. Chris Wallace, Neil Cavuto, and Shepard Smith refused to defend Trump and exposed his blatant lies.

The watchdog group, Media Matters, reports that Sinclair’s message is that “children must not be exposed to the ‘gratuitous violence of video games and movies, and that the ‘impact of violent media on the psyche of our youth’ has to be a part of preventing mass shootings. Media Matters found that the segment has aired on at least 28 stations in 26 states. One of the cities it aired in: El Paso. There is zero evidence that video games or movies have anything to do with gun massacres. As opposed to, you know, guns.”

Sinclair was echoing Trump’s statements. After promising to support comprehensive background checks, he received a call from Wayne LaPierre. Trump turned 180 degrees and began to blame the growing number of mass shootings on mental illness. The truth is, domestic terrorists kill people with guns every day in America.

Fox and Sinclair act in the same manner as the government-controlled media in 1930’s Germany. They will say anything to support the enemy of real Americans, the Republican Party.

Time for real change.

Tell everyone; “the truth lives here.”
