“Moscow Mitch” McConnell hates the nickname. He’s never complained about others, including “The Grim Reaper,” and “The Turtle.” He’s never complained about any of them before and I can only assume he’s whining today because it is accurate and the inference is true.

He says: “Moscow Mitch,” calling the nickname an “over-the-top” effort to “smear” him.

“It’s modern-day McCarthyism,” McConnell said during a radio interview on Salem Media Group’s “Hugh Hewitt Show” when asked about the nickname he received after blocking Democrats’ efforts to pass bipartisan election security bills. “Unbelievable for a Cold Warrior like me who spent a career standing up to the Russians to be given a moniker like that.”

Okay Moscow Mitch, you have been a Russian asset for decades. You not only blocked funding to protect our elections, you refused to allow a vote on sanctions against one of our biggest enemies. Records show that you have accepted campaign donations from at least two Russian oligarchs. Like his fuhrer, Moscow Mitch is a liar and a traitor to America. So far this year he has blocked nearly 220 bills passed in the House. He refuses to allow a vote on the floor of the Senate.

“You know, I can laugh about things like the ‘Grim Reaper,’ but calling me Moscow Mitch is over the top,” the Kentucky senator added, before suggesting that Democrats would “say anything and do anything.”

“This is what we’re up against with the hard left today in America,” he said.

Let’s read between the lines.

First of all, the truth can end his career. What he is “up against” are real Americans who love their country and reject the fascist policies of Trump and his party. We support the rights of all Americans. We believe that a racist president is unfit to lead our nation. We believe that all Americans have the right to free or inexpensive medical care. We do not believe that only the wealthy should have access to higher education. We believe in every word of the first amendment. We believe that women should be treated equally in every situation. We believe that our leaders should have a very high moral compass; a man who is a self-admitted sexual predator, a serial philanderer, and a vile old man who has sexually assaulted at least 20 women should not be allowed to defile the White House. We believe that old, white, racist men like McConnell have irrevocably damaged our government.

Finally, Moscow Mitch has been in the Senate for nearly 35 years; far too long. He has zero accomplishments in three-and-one-half decades. It was Moscow Mitch who created the “party of no.” In January of 2009 he and John Boehner stood before the television cameras and promised that, “his party would do nothing as long as that black man lived in the White House. It is Moscow Mitch who ‘ramrodded’ Trump’s unqualified cabinet, advisors, and Supreme Court nominees through the Senate although public opinion was opposed to most of them. It was Moscow Mitch who refused to prevent a government shutdown in support of his fuhrer.

All Republicans must be removed from Washington; they are the enemy of the American people. Trump and his party promised to “preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution;” they lied.

Tell everyone; “the truth lives here.”
