Climate change is the greatest danger to our world. Trump and his party may be the only group in the world which remains in denial; they choose ignorance over facts. Ted Cruz recently revealed a level of stupidity which proves he is unfit to be a United States Senator.

I don’t know what most people think of when the terms “climate change” or “global warming” are introduced in conversation. The truth is that a depleting ozone layer in our upper atmosphere is removing the protective layer which prevents rays from the sun from altering our environment. The cause has been confirmed; mankind’s use of fossil fuels.

Some people believe that climate change refers only to extended heat waves around the world. The truth is increasing temperatures are responsible for more severe snowstorms, stronger tornadoes, larger hurricanes, and the melting of ice in the earth’s polar regions causing the seas to rise. Both droughts and flooding are the result of climate change.

Beto O’Rourke says his 8-year-old son told him that they cannot live in El Paso in the near future because it “would not sustain human life unless something dramatic changes” with climate change.

Ted Cruz, another Republican who chooses to be ignorant, responded with a ridiculous tweet.

“Um, El Paso is land-locked.”

Apparently, Cruz believes that the only effect of climate change is the rise in sea level.

Every time I listen to a Republican politician speak, I am embarrassed and confused. First, when did the GOP lose its ability to think clearly and independently? Second, how did they get elected?

Cruz and his failed party in the senate obey America’s biggest traitor, Moscow Mitch McConnell; the man who is responsible for destroying democracy in Washington.

Republicans have become the enemy of the American people. Remove them from Washington on November 3, 2020 and take your country back.

Tell everyone; “the truth lives here.”
