Donald Trump: “Billions pouring into USA,” Trump tweeted Friday morning in defense of his trade war. “Targeted Patriot Farmers getting massive Dollars from the incoming Tariffs!”

Trump was forced to sign two executive orders to bailout farmers at a taxpayer cost of $30 billion. “Wisconsin’s community banks saw a record high number of delinquencies on farm loans in June. The percentage of past-due loans at community banks hit 2.9% in June, reaching rates that are comparable to those back in 2001.”

Since Trump’s inauguration, the number of farm foreclosures  has doubled in the “cheese state.” All of this is the result of Trump’s unilateral decision to place tariffs on imports. The resulting trade war destroyed soybean farmers and others who believed in Trump in 2016. Sadly, they have learned what I have known for years; Trump is the biggest liar in America’s history.

Trump barely won Wisconsin’s electoral votes in 2016, and Democrats are active in the state, believing that it will become blue again in 2020.

Trump’s “folly;” his choice to bully the second largest economy in the world; is affecting every American from Wall Street to the average consumer. Republicans have failed our nation economically since 1981. Trickle-down economics has never been effective, and it never will be.

Every credible economist warned against placing additional tariffs  on imports; Trump not only refused to listen, he never consulted one of his advisers.

This foolhardy act, combined with his misnamed ‘tax reform,’ which added a minimum of one-trillion dollars to the deficit, are moving our nation closer to another Republican recession.

Sadly, in 2016 millions of uninformed Americans cast their ballots for a man who had failed at everything he attempted in his pitiful life. He followed George W. Bush who was also a major failure. If these voters had vetted Trump, they would have known that he would fail America. Every claim that he was instrumental in growing our economy was a falsehood. Programs and agreements with the business world which led to our nation’s recovery from a Republican caused recession began under President Obama’s administration. Trump has systematically destroyed the successes of a real American President and will culminate in a recession which may be much larger than what occurred in 2008.

The last report of new jobs in America were less than forecast. At least one-sixth of the jobs which were created belonged to census employees. I was in management in the 2010 census, and our largest hiring months in the year before the full efforts of the United States Census Bureau began were in the summer of 2009. These facts prove that Trump has done nothing to increase the number of good-paying jobs in America. Donald John Trump is a fraud and a fool.

Farmers are suffering and the rest of America will join their pain in the near future. Trump is the worst thing to happen to America in its 243-year history. His lack of basic intelligence has harmed our nation for more than two-years-and-seven-months.

Time for change; change which will save the nation of our founding fathers.

Tell everyone; “the truth lives here.”
