Far closer to zero than 100. This is what Trump’s latest approval ratings look like. The polls reveal a six-point drop to 38 percent, while his disapproval rate is 56 percent. Reports from the West Wing claim Trump is livid. Donald Trump slammed ABC and Washington Post as “two very bad and dangerous media outlets” after they released a joint poll showing the president’s approval rating in decline and growing fears of an economic recession. Once again, two things: If Trump’s lips or thumbs are moving, he’s lying, and his greatest enemy is the truth.
The foundation of the Republican Party is built on lies. If you ask a Republican politician if Trump lies, he will say ‘no;’ which is a lie.
What should he expect? Just this weekend he continued to lie about the effects of his trade war with China. He continued to defend his falsified weather map. Trump claimed that he invited leaders of the Taliban to Camp David on Sunday, and abruptly cancelled the meeting. He lost a twitter war with John Legend and Chrissy Teigen. A recession appears unavoidable. Why wouldn’t the American people voice their disapproval of this failed president? These are just a few of the many tweets Trump sent this weekend; all of them argumentative and hate filled.
Most importantly, Trump admits that he does not represent me, or you if you’re reading this blog. He only supports those who support him. Donald Trump will never be my president.
