The 2020 elections will be historical. America will be saved or fascism will rule a nation once revered by the world for its freedoms and individual rights. There is also an opportunity for voters to ignore political partisanship and choose candidates who will represent them in the future. An opportunity exists to rid Washington of the “old guard,” and replace them with younger, more progressive women and men which will move America forward in the 21^st century.

This election is not entirely about removing the worst president in history from the White House. It is far more important than one man. The future of our nation is in the balance, and we can stand behind the dreams of our founding fathers or choose to accept a party which serves the ambitions of Donald John Trump who is an agent for Vladimir Putin.

Every man and woman who loves their country and is eligible to vote must go to the polls on November 3, 2020. We can reverse the mistakes of 2016 and take our country back from Republicans who are holding our government hostage.

We, the people, must remove politics from this election. This one is all about choosing the right people for the job and women and men who will do the right thing for the people after they are sworn in, and keep their campaign promses.

Every Republican in office today, from your illegitimate president to the newest Republican member of the House, lied when they took the oath of office. They swore to “preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States of America,” and they have violated the Law of the Land every day they have been in office by supporting the anti-American and unconstitutional actions of one Donald John Trump; a.k.a. “Russian agent number one.”

I know some of you doubt the seriousness of what I write. I love history and I believe that it is the greatest lesson for mankind. As humans we have a choice; we can learn from our mistakes and move forward based on our successes or choose to do nothing which is always the most dangerous possibility.

Trump’s illegitimate election is the greatest mistake in American history. However, there are lessons to be learned. Never again should the voting public elect a man or woman who has not served in federal government prior to his or her election. With few exceptions the naivete of those who have never been involved in politics in our nation’s capital results is a lengthy period of time when our government becomes ineffective. When ignorant voters select a man like Trump, who had zero experience and failed in the private sector, disaster is unavoidable.

Our president must have moral character beyond reproach. He or she must be a true patriot whose loyalty is to the American people and not to a political party or a foreign nation. He or she must have exceptional intelligence and after elected choose the most qualified and experienced women and men in America for their cabinet and top advisers.

Huge mistakes were made on November 8, 2016 and continue today. This must change in 2020. Republicans have chosen to be the enemy of the people. They must be removed from Washington.
