Stories from inside ICE and the CBP offer proof that these agencies have become Trump’s personal gestapo. Multiple allegations of racism and bigotry continue to dominate the agencies trusted with immigration on our borders, although the focus has been on our border with Mexico and Hispanic asylum seekers, these racist acts include Muslim-Americans.

These agencies have no common sense and support the leader of white supremacy in America. They continue to ignore their mission statement and treat less fortunate men, women, and children as less than human.

One situation which is indicative of the failure or both agencies involves the Mayor of Prospect Park, New Jersey.

Muslim American Mayor Mohamed Khairullah and his family had actually been vacationing in Turkey and were returning home to Prospect Park when the CBP agent’s questions went from standard—“like about where he traveled from and who he visited,” CNN said—to downright offensive and discriminatory, asking Khairullah “did you meet with any terrorists?”

This is the ‘new America’ under Trump’s fascist administration. I am ashamed of the men and women in Washington who have destroyed the respect America once deserved. We are known around the world as a nation of racists and bigots who no longer protect human and individual rights. Freedom is not the focus of our nation. Fascism is replacing democracy under Vladimir Putin’s puppet, Donald John Trump.

I admit to being a pacifist. For more than 73 years I have tried to resist extreme emotions; especially those which are negative. However, when one man’s goal is to destroy my country and harm the American people, I cannot ignore this disgusting man and his hypocritical party. I hate Trump. I deserve to have an American as my legitimately elected president.

I have never accepted Trump as my president and I never will. He has never earned my respect or my loyalty.
