The Themes of Trump’s Rallies Continue to be “Anger, Hatred, and Violence”

by James Turnage, author of “DOING THE RIGHT THING FOR GOD AND COUNTRY”

Trump is responsible for nearly everything that is wrong with our nation today. In the last two-years and eight months Trump brought out the worst of our nation. His racist beliefs are responsible for the number of hate groups; white supremacists; who brazenly march in our streets today. The orange man is why our nation is divided more than at any other time since the Civil War. Donny Boy is the reason hate crimes have increased by more than 800 percent since his nomination in July of 2016. There are more mass shootings; four or more people wounded or killed at a single shooting; than days on the calendar in the last two years. Several of the most egregious and preventable mass shootings in our nation’s history have occurred under Trump’s watch and he has done absolutely nothing about them, although there are two simple solutions. There are many more reasons why Trump is unfit to be our president, but the list would take far too many pages.

Right-wing extremists, better known as the “new fascists,” are openly and secretly threatening the lives of those who oppose their vile and anti-American views.

The majority of these threats are made on social media. However, one Portland, Oregon right-wing radio host is inciting hatred and violence on his anti-American syndicated broadcasts.

Lars Larson invited an ex-Marine to appear on his racist and bigoted show. He wants him to explain his plans for a national campaign to hunt down and kill antifascists in their homes. If this is the “new America,” I cannot be part of it.

Trump is a fascist; not an American. This alone prevents him from claiming the title of President of the United States. Our founding fathers are literally rolling over in their graves. The American people deserve better. We have the right to expect a man or woman who loves their country and whose first loyalty is to the American people, not to leaders of nations who are our enemies.

Trump’s America is not my America, and I hope it’s not yours. I am old enough to remember when the United States was respected for its compassion for people, and the support of equal rights and opportunity for everyone.

Those were good times.

“The truth lives here;” spread the word.
