After the 2000 election, Democrats allowed Moscow Mitch McConnell and his party to push them around. The “people’s party,” which originated in the 1930’s with President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, was once a party of ideas, principles, and ideals. Democrats fought for the rights of the people; the working class. They were proud to be liberals; men and women who represented all Americans in their efforts to advance the quality of life for the American people. They let big business take care of itself. They have become cowardly today; more worried about elections than doing what is right for the American people.
Slowly the party of FDR began to move to the right. The old guard in the Democratic Party would be labeled Republicans 50 years ago. The GOP has moved so far to the right they are incapable of governing. Republicans refuse to deliberate and compromise; the only way a democratic government can function.
After it was discovered that Trump offered $250 million in aid to Ukraine in exchange for “dirt” on Joe Biden’s son, the push for impeaching Donald Trump has grown. This treasonous action combined with his may ethics violations, and attacks on our Constitution are more than enough reasons to remove this horrific man from the White House.
Pelosi continues to fight against the idea. The truth is that Trump must be exposed. Pelosi is playing politics and afraid to ‘do the right thing’ for far too long. We must have liberal, or if you prefer, ‘progressive,’ women and men who are not afraid to call the orange man what he is and is not. He is a man with a very low level of intelligence, immoral, mentally incompetent, a xenophobe, an islamophobe, a homophobe, and a sexist. He is not an American.
Pelosi simply adds proof to my claim that old, white, men and women must retire and make way for younger more aggressive women and men who will lead us forward into the 21st century and not follow Republicans who are regressive.
If any president deserved to be impeached it is the most hated and corrupt man in our nation. The latest incident is very serious and must be called what it is; selling America for personal gain.
“If any of these allegations are true, these are probably the most serious allegations against the president,” said Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA), an impeachment supporter. “I do think this is going to probably move more of the members to start calling for that [impeachment] hearing… My guess is, those numbers are going to continue to go up.”
Pelosi cannot lead; she must learn to follow.
“The truth lives here;” spread the word.
