Laura Ingraham Fails to Cover-up her Ignorance with Denial

by James Turnage, author of “A Little Murder in the Biggest Little City”

Fox will never earn respect as a legitimate news agency if it continues to pay liars like Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Jeanine Pirro, and Laura Ingraham. First, intelligent Americans do not watch this failing network; it’s an insult to men and women who value intellect over emotional rants.

Yesterday millions of young men and women around the world marched in the streets demanding their governments take the escalating climate change issue seriously. The largest turnout appeared to be in Germany. While old men and women in our governments often treat this issue lightly, those who will be affected by it most in the future are serious about immediate challenges to our air, water, and soil.

Of course, Fox Noise is a denier. Like the fuhrer in the White House, they claim that the drastic changes in weather around the world are “natural.” Fossil fuel use by man is not the cause for stronger storms and longer droughts.

Laura Ingraham’s pitiful broadcast continues to lose sponsors for good reason. Lies only last for a short period of time and when the truth is exposed, intelligent Americans reject Fox’s paid liars. So, naturally she belittled these young people who have the most to lose from the destruction of our ozone layer.

Ingraham and contributor Raymond Arroyo waded into the “hysteria” over climate change on the “Friday Follies” segment of the program. Ingraham asked Arroyo to give the audience some insight into how “climate alarm-ism” is rattling the young.

“There’s a hysteria that’s emerging Laura, among the young and it’s gotten so bad that these young people are literally having breakdowns,” Arroyo said.

Arroyo reminds me of the dark past. Some of the greatest disasters in history were the result of men who denied the facts before them and allowed tragedy to happen. The attacks on September 11, 2001 might have been halted if George W. Bush and Dick Cheney had taken the warnings of our security agencies seriously. Generals denied that the destruction of Pearl Harbor was imminent. If American voters had ignored the efforts of Russia on social media and taken the threat of a Trump presidency seriously, the voter turnout in 2016 would have been much larger, and the worst president in history would not be soiling the White House sheets with “secret sauce” today.

Denying climate change won’t make it go away. The technology to end our dependence on fossil fuels is available  today. Green energy is available in most areas of our nation, and converting to non-polluting sources of power would create thousands of new, good-paying jobs. Don’t be a “fossil fool;” the threat to the future of the world is real.
