Today Trump made history once again. He forced a reluctant Democratically controlled House to formally begin the impeachment process. The last straw was his attempt to coerce the leader of Ukraine to seek information on business dealings by Joe Biden’s son. According to sources, he offered $250 million in aid if he agreed, and threatened to freeze aid to Ukraine if he refused.

Although Nancy Pelosi repeatedly refused to begin impeachment, she announced today that she was left without a choice. Doing the right thing for the future of our nation became mandatory.

Placing this political moment in context, Pelosi reflected on an essay by Thomas Paine perhaps best known for its opening assertion: “These are the times that try men’s souls.” Within that article, Paine had written, “The time has found us.”

“The times have found us today,” Pelosi echoed on Tuesday, addressing the gravity of the developments surrounding Trump’s actions. “Not to place us ourselves in the same category of greatness as our founders—but to place us in the urgency of protecting and defending our Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic—in the words of Ben Franklin, to keep our republic.” Pelosi said Trump had violated both the Constitution and the law.

I want to warn all of you who are becoming excited not to dream too much about Trump’s forcible removal from the White House. The senate must complete the process, and Moscow Mitch will never allow his fuhrer to experience justice.

However, documents Trump continues to hide from the American people, including his tax returns, will become public during the process.

Remember the hypocrisy of the Republican Party. Clinton got a blowjob in the Oval Office and the fake-party of “family values” immediately began impeachment proceedings. Trump has violated the Constitution multiple times, and the Emoluments Clause even more often. He has conspired with our enemies including sales of weapons and our nuclear secrets to Saudi Arabia to aid their efforts to commit genocide in Yemen. But cowardly Republicans refuse to save our nation and condemn a traitor.

The one question; the only question which matters is “will Trump attempt to obstruct justice once again?” I’s bet my life on it. This is his only chance to save his humongous derriere.

“The truth lives here;” please spread the word.
