For the last six years I have been writing about the disruption in the Republican Party and how today’s group is actually Republican in name only. The proof is evident by the number of true Republicans who have resigned from their positions in Washington.

Real Republicans have abandoned the party of Trump and Moscow Mitch. This group of Republicans in name only are not loyal to America. Since Trump was gifted the Electoral College, dozens of real Republicans have resigned their from congress and have no intention of seeking election in the future.

Since Trump was inaugurated, reports the Post, “[N]early 40 percent of the 241 Republicans who were in office in January 2017 are gone or leaving because of election losses, retirements including former House speaker Paul D. Ryan (Wis.), and some, such as Mitchell, who are simply quitting in disgust.”

If Trump, who was previously a Democrat, planned to destroy the Republican Party, he is succeeding.

Let’s get to the reality of his situation. Only fake-Republicans, including Moscow Mitch McConnell, Ted Cruz, John Cornyn, Chuck Grassley, and others continue to support the traitor in the White House.

There is no resemblance to today’s Republican Party in name only and the courageous men and women of 30 years ago.They lack principles and loyalty to the American people. They are opportunists and have decided to place their future ahead of their country.

Trump has created his own party and they are not Republicans. They are opportunists who seek power over the American people. Sadly, millions of Americans have chosen to be brainwashed and continue to support the worst and most illegitimate president in history.

My America begins with the Bill of Rights; the most important declarations and promises ever made to humanity. When politicians such as Trump and his party deny these rights and fail to support the needs and wishes of the American people, I will reveal their treason and refuse to be silent.

My America is understanding, compassionate, and hopeful. My America respects the rights of all Americans to live their lives based on personal beliefs. My America is not based on the regressive agenda of Trump, Moscow Mitch, and other right-wing politicians. I love my country, but it does not exist under Donald Trump.

Finally, as an Independent I find it very upsetting that the Republican Party is non-existent today. Refusing to represent the majority is unforgivable. The right-wing has become the enemy of the American people. Remember this fact when you vote on November 3, 2020.
