When Trump made another unilateral decision to withdraw all American forces from the border between Turkey and Syria on Sunday evening, he literally signed the death certificates of thousands of Kurdish fighters. For the last several years the Kurds have been fighting America’s war against Isis in Syria, but today one of our closest allies has been abandoned and at the mercy of Turkish President/Dictator, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who considers the Kurds ‘terrorists.’
Today, nearly three days after Trump did the unspeakable, Turkish forces began a siege on the Kurds.
“Turkey launched a major military operation in northeastern Syria on Wednesday, prompting alarm and despair among the Kurdish fighters who have been crucial U.S. allies in the war on the Islamic State group.”
If this is an example of Trump’s “great and unmatched wisdom,” he must be taken to the emergency room immediately. Some ‘thief in the night’ has obviously stolen his tiny brain.
Why does Trump have a cabinet or other close advisers? He refuses to use them; he trusts no one. Trump is an egomaniacal fool. One of the patients is running the asylum.
And Republicans continue to support him. Disgusting.
