Impeachment? Ask 17 Former Watergate Prosecutors

Trump has an ad running on television. The entire ad is a lie. Its purpose is to misdirect the American people from the fact that Trump has committed  ‘high crimes and misdemeanors’ and must be removed from office. His level of corruption greatly surpasses that of Richard M. Nixon.

Today, 17 former Watergate prosecutors called for Trump’s impeachment.

“In our considered view, the same three articles of impeachment could be specified against Trump, as he has demonstrated serious and persistent abuses of power that, in our view, satisfy the constitutional standard of ‘high crimes and misdemeanors,’” they wrote.

Trump’s impeachable offenses are blackmailing a foreign leader to help him win an election, obstruction of justice, another for abuse of power, and one for contempt of Congress.

Trump has another way out; he can resign before he is impeached. Nixon did just that instead of experiencing the humiliation of a trial and the subsequent damage to his party and our nation. I doubt that Trump has the intelligence and self-respect to admit his crimes. His entire life of criminal action, failures, and debauchery will become available to the world.

Enough is more than enough. Trump must go. He is a disgrace to the office of the presidency, and a danger to world peace. He has already caused irreparable damage to the United States of America.
