Hey Jared, Learn Something; When You’re a Public Figure there are no Secrets; You Shouldn’t Tell the Truth to the Press

Jared Kushner may not be very smart. He has not learned a rule of the Trump administration; never tell the truth to the press. Several years ago he made just such a mistake.

Elizabeth Spiers was an editor for the “New York Observer” covering Barrack Obama’s 2008 campaign. She told Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner that she was disturbed with the orange man’s “birther conspiracy.” His response was forthright, informing Ms. Spiers that Trump did not really believe his own claim.

“When I was the editor of the New York Observer, Kushner and I were going back and forth about how the paper should cover him,” Elizabeth Spiers wrote in a post on Twitter.

“I told Jared that I was particularly appalled by his father-in-law’s birtherism stance, which I viewed as cynical and racist.

“He rolled his eyes and said ‘He doesn’t really believe it, Elizabeth. He just knows Republicans are stupid and they’ll buy it’”.

Obviously, Kushner was not wrong. Trump’s election is proof that Republicans will believe anything they choose to believe without confirming the facts. Trump is a con man and continues to make fools of right-wing supporters. He is aided by the right-wing propaganda machine; Fox Noise and its paid liars.

If you enjoy being lied to, vote for Trump. If not, vet every candidate and cast your ballot for the woman or man whose stance on the issues is closest to your own. Election day is November 3, 2020.
