Wilbur Ross was sleeping, but two of the three stooges, Steve Mnuchin and Mike Pence, stood before the television cameras and announced that sanctions have been placed on the Turkish government. These were prompted by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s attacks inside of Syria. His enemy is not ISIS but his own people; the Kurds. He has begun a form of ‘ethnic cleansing.’

The Kurds have been fighting with American forces for five years to halt ISIS’ incursion into Syria and Iraq. The Kurds are American allies.

Sanctions would not be needed if the idiot in the White House had not made another mistake. His removal of more than 90 percent of U.S. troops from the border between Turkey and Syria allowed the Turkish dictator to begin his slaughter of Kurdish soldiers and their families.

I believe that we, the American people, deserve a president who is intelligent and whose thought process is measured and wise, aided by the advice of his cabinet and closest confidants. This is not Trump. He is a bully and an arrogant egomaniac who trusts no one although he is the least informed man in Washington. Never forget that he refuses to read the ‘President’s Daily Briefing.’ He never leaves the residence before 11 a.m.
