First, for those of you who do not know what the 25^th amendment of the Constitution provides, here is a short summation. The President of the United States can be removed from office based on his or her inability to perform his or her duties, or is removed from office for other reasons which make him or her unfit to hold office. This would be accomplished by a vote of his or her cabinet and the vice-president.

Even before Trump impulsively fired FBI Director James Comey on May 9, 2017, I called for Trump’s cabinet and Mike Pence to invoke the amendment based on his actions which revealed an extreme level of mental incompetence. A letter signed by more than two dozen mental health professionals labeled the orange man as a “narcissistic, paranoid schizophrenic.”

A new book will be released on November 19th; another “tell-all” about the evils and danger of one Donald John Trump. The title is “A Warning,” and the author is “Anonymous.” The author is reportedly one of several former White House staff members who considered resigning as a group to alert the American people of the dangers offered by Donald Trump’s illegitimate presidency. They called it “a midnight self-massacre.”

Excerpts from the book detail hidden White House events; none of which involve governance. Aides tell stories of being forced to sit with Donny Boy while he described women in lurid details. He constantly rated their appearance and the way they dressed.

The book also revealed a disturbing tale which occurred after the firing of James Comey. Trump was ranting uncontrollably after he learned that he was being investigated for collusion with Russia during the 2016 Election. According to the author, Pence collected the cabinet and brought up the possibility of implementing Article 25.

Of course, Pence is denying this fact. However, for me, the most frightening part of this part of the book is that Republicans are obviously aware that Trump is mentally unhinged and unfit to lead our nation. If Republicans know the truth, and they obviously do, they are demonstrating a complete disregard for the future of America. Not only must Trump be removed from office, we must vote Moscow Mitch, Chuck Grassley, Lindsey Graham, Jim Jordan, Steve Scalise, and every other Republican in the House or running for reelection in the Senate out of office.

This is our country; it does not belong to the executive, legislative, or judicial branches, or to either political party. America is composed of 320 million people and we are the United States of America. On November 3, 2020, less than a year from today, we can change the direction of America by electing candidates who will represent us, we must ignore political affiliation and choose women and men whose views are most closely aligned with our own. Television must no longer dictate the winner of our elections.
