One entire political party has ignored the reason for which they were elected. Trump and his party make hundreds of promises, and when elected, vote for special interests. Lobbyists who represent billionaires win and the American people lose. Two perfect examples of why lobbies must be banned from Washington are the Christian religious right and the NRA gun lobby. Issues including same sex marriage, a woman’s right to decide the mental and physical health of her own body, and the decision to protect the rights of gun nuts vs the safety of their own families and all Americans would not exist.

Today’s Republican Party in name only is filled with self-serving liars who must be removed from Washington. The worst of the worst is Moscow Mitch McConnell who has failed the people of Kentucky and America for nearly 34 long years. He created the ‘party of no’ and is Washington’s biggest hypocrite. Although he adamantly opposed Trump prior to his illegitimate election, he has become the orange man’s puppet. Moscow Mitch has ruined the balance of power in our nation’s government.

Sadly, the House has one man who is equal to the hideous Moscow Mitch. His name is Jim Jordan from Ohio. Jordan is the loud-mouthed liar and fascist you might have seen satirized on Saturday Night Live. Jordan is one of the creators of the extremist group calling themselves the “freedom caucus.” They are so far to the right; they are always wrong.

We must not forget one of Jordan’s biggest crimes; why he is unfit to represent a district in Ohio. While an assistant wrestling coach at Ohio State University, he was guilty of ignoring multiple acts of sexual assault.

The team doctor, Richard Strauss was abusing members of the team. A second man has come forward claiming that he too had informed Jordan about the crimes. Jordan continues to deny the truth. It is clear that he was fully aware of what occurred in the locker room and chose to ignore sexual assault and abuse. He is as guilty as Strauss; these young men have suffered with mental issues for years.

Jordan is one of Trump’s most loyal and loudest supporters; that in itself is a crime. However, it fits with his past. Trump is also a self-admitted sexual predator who assaulted at least 23 women, and had affairs with a porn star and a Playboy model immediately after his son, Barron, was brought into the world. I wonder what secrets Jordan is hiding in his own past.

Moscow Mitch and Jordan are citizens of Trump’s America, not mine. On November 3, 2020, let’s do the right thing and rid our nation of the right-wing extremist curse. Help me and millions of other real Americans restore dignity and intelligence in Washington. Send all Republicans home and make government functional once again. If Moscow Mitch and others like Jordan are no longer violating their oaths of office, America has an opportunity to become great.
