Because the mainstream media is failing the American people once again, most do not understand the scope of these impeachment hearings. It appears to the less informed that these Republicans in name only are defending Trump’s crimes, when the truth is that they are defending themselves for being complicit in violating the Constitution of the United States of America.

Nixon resigned before his impeachment. Real Republicans urged him to do the right thing and save our nation the embarrassment of a trial in the senate. Those Republicans do not exist today.

It is impossible to believe that this group of fake-Republicans was unaware of Trump’s collusion with Russia, his multiple efforts to obstruct justice, his lurid and deviant relationships with women who were not his wife, and his support of white supremacy in America.

Joining Trump and his party are fake-Christians who call themselves “evangelicals.” They, like right-wing extremists, are fully cognizant of Trump’s immoral and self-serving actions. He is not, and never has been a Christian. The pastor of the church to which he claims to belong has never seen him cross the building’s threshold. This is pure hypocrisy at the highest level; or should I say, ‘lowest level.’

I hope that Americans who care about the future of their country will learn one thing from these hearings; the right-wing is the enemy of the American people. We can defeat the fascists who would destroy the country of our founding fathers and void most of the Constitution. On November 3, 2020 vote, and encourage everyone you know to do the same. This is our country, not theirs.
